  • A show with Andrew Duhon is less a performance and more an invitation into a quiet room where stories matter. Rooted in Louisiana's musical and cultural traditions, his newest album, The Parish Record, paints honest portraits of small-town life, love and resilience. Tickets at manshiptheatre.org. 🌱 Red Stick Farmers Market: Fresh Fest—Melon Mania—8 a.m.–noon 📍 5th & Main Street, downtown

🦕 Dino Day at LASM—10 a.m.–5 p.m. 📍 Louisiana Art & Science Museum, 100 S. River Road

  • LASM's annual Dino Day marks 10 years of "Jason"—the 66-million-year-old Triceratops skull on loan from Raising Cane's and the Todd Graves Family. Meet a paleontologist, explore hands-on activities with community partners through 2 p.m. and catch dinosaur-themed planetarium shows through 5 p.m. BASF's Kids' Lab chemistry workshops at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Included with general admission at lasm.org.

⚔️ KnockFest—10 a.m.–4 p.m. 📍 Knock Knock Children's Museum, 1900 Dalrymple Drive

  • Knock Knock transforms into a medieval kingdom for its annual fundraising festival—inspired by the Legend of King Arthur. 🏳️‍🌈 Baton Rouge Pride Fest—11:30 a.m.–5 p.m. 📍 Raising Cane's River Center Exhibit Hall, 275 S. River Road

  • The 17th annual Baton Rouge Pride Fest—the largest indoor Pride festival in the South. Theme: "This Is What Pride Feels Like." Live performances from drag entertainers, musicians and special guest headliners; The Rainbow Exchange marketplace; Drag Queen Story Time; free HIV testing and PrEP education. 🎵 Muddy Water Music Festival—1–11 p.m. 📍 Downtown Baton Rouge, Third Street corridor

  • 100-plus original singer-songwriters from Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Arkansas spread across six downtown bars and restaurants—The Basin, Squeaky Pete's, The River Room, The Vintage, The Bistro at Hotel Indigo and Somewhere. All stages indoors. Fundraiser supporting Tunnels to Towers. Tickets required.

  • A live concert celebration of beloved princess music for the whole family. Tickets at Ticketmaster.

🎬 Paris Is Burning—2–3:45 p.m. 📍 Manship Theatre, 100 Lafayette St.

  • In partnership with Baton Rouge Pride. The landmark 1990 documentary that introduced the world to New York's drag ball culture and the houses that built it. Followed by a short film. $5. Tickets at manshiptheatre.org.

  • Final Sunday of the June series—bring your lawn chairs and settle in for free live smooth jazz on the library grounds. No tickets required.

🗳️ June 27 Ballot: Three EBR Tax Renewals

  • EBR voters decide on three millage renewals Saturday—none are new taxes, all are renewals of existing millages funding core parish services. On the ballot: EBR Parish Library (9.5 mills, 10 years, ~$59.5M annually), EBR Council on Aging (2.0 mills, ~$12.5M annually for senior services including Meals on Wheels and transportation) and BREC.
