🌱 **Red Stick Farmers Market: Fresh Fest—Tomato Me Crazy—8 a.m.–noon** 📍 5th & Main Street, downtown

- This week's Fresh Fest theme puts Louisiana tomatoes front and center—samples, tastings and a chef demonstration by Dorcas Gyan at 10 a.m. in The Teaching Kitchen at Main Street Market. - The first Sunday of every month means free admission across Baton Rouge's premier cultural institutions: LASM, Old State Capitol, Old Governor's Mansion, LSU Museum of Art, Capitol Park Museum, Cary Saurage Community Arts Center, LSU Center for River Studies and Magnolia Mound. No tickets required.

🔬 **Random Acts of Science at LASM—1–5 p.m.** 📍 Louisiana Art & Science Museum, 100 S. River Road

Artist Cullen Bernard demonstrates live how to draw the book's characters. Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries brings a hands-on table featuring swamp-life artifacts—including hatchling alligators.
